Selling Your Home? Make Sure it has Good Curb Appeal

If you’re selling your home one of the most important things you can do is make sure that your home looks appealing from the outside. Curb appeal is how your home looks from the street to a perspective buyer. Your house’s exterior makes a first impression. Depending on a perspective buyer’s impression, will determine if the buyer will be tempted to come inside and look at it more. Don’t turn away buyers. Make your house is appealing, this will lead to more buyers and a better price. Here are some tips for enhancing your properties curb appeal:

• Take a picture of your home from the street and analyze it. What looks good, what could be better? How is the landscaping, how is the paint or siding. What are the weaknesses that must can be improved

• Have a lawn service come to your property and manicure it. Make sure the grass is cut, leaves are removed and bushes are edged properly

• If you have any eyesores remove them, such as a broken down car in the front yard or tools and equipment.

• You may want to do some touch up painting or powerwash the exterior

It is plain to see that great curb appeal leads to more buyers being interested and possibly a better price.
