If you are on the East Coast, you will save the most. Less distance means less money, however large hubs such as Chicago and Cleveland are usually not that expensive. Another great tip is to fly to a major city in Europe. Expect to save the most if you are flying to London. Flying to London is the cheapest, you can probably get a New York to London flight for less than $500 round trip. Flying to Rome and Paris will be a little more.
