Cat FAQ

If you have a cat, one of the more convenient things about owning cats is that you do not have to take them out for walks. You can easily train them to use a litter box. But many cat owners have questions about litter boxes. Here are some tips.

What is the correct number of litter boxes I should have if I have more than one cat?
You should usually have one litter box for two cats. Many people suggest one litter box for one cat plus an extra one but I think that if you have six cats that is unrealistic. Usually if you have two or three cats, two litter boxes will be fine.

What size litter box is good for my cat?
Take a look at the litter box and figure out what size your cat would need. If your cat is big or heavy a larger size box is recommends, if your cat is small than a roomier box is fine.

Where should I put the Litter Box?
Every home is different, most people put the box in a quiet, more private place, just like we need quiet surroundings, so do cats.

If you find your cat is having problems with the litter box, it is best to consult your vet.
